We designed the software Android Data Recovery (ADR512) to discover and list all of the SQLite data available in a device’s image, where OS Android is an operating system of the device. The software is also capable to recover files that contain SQLite databases even if the data is corrupted or temporary unavailable. It is intended to be used in data recovery and forensic.
As an input, the software requires
- memory’s image file (to be obtained from root right, by extracting of memory chips from the solder joints and direct reading, etc.) or SQLite database file (essential);
- file folder (i.e. image data), that can be required to identify system data of the databases for the most of the typical applications (optional)
As a result the software will present
- data registry in the main software window, where filters (by text, telephone numbers, date) and Cyrillic search are available
- system file with .512 extension, that can be opened using the software
- results archive as text files
- html-files
Advantageous features
- the software looks for all SQLite-records without binding to certain databases
- it doesn't use other libraries and access functions to SQLite-records, and uses implementation of own algorithm (technique) of recognition of SQLite-records
- it uses sorting remote /not remote record for popular applications
- it doesn't depend upon new versions of applications (change of a database structure)
- the software integrates records in the table, even if when application is unknown (deleted or new)
- it is implemented a search and a records filters system (with supported Unicode)
- recognition of date and time from numerical format
System requirements
- Windows 7, Windows 10
- Hard drive: no less than 2 GB of the free space on a system disk
- RAM: no less than 1 GB
